Miller Weingarten Realty, LLC (MWR) was formed as a joint venture between Miller Development (Englewood, Colorado) and Weingarten Realty Investors (Houston, Texas), uniquely blending the extensive local knowledge and contacts of the Colorado company with the financial strength and stability of a New York Stock Exchange Real Estate Investment Trust.

MWR acquires and develops properties with the goal of long-term investment. MWR's in-house development, construction management, leasing and property management departments are staffed with seasoned professionals dedicated to creating and maintaining long-term value and to providing the highest level of service to property tenants and the municipalities in which they are developed.

MWR has recently completed several public/private development and redevelopment projects, totaling 1.6 million square feet, is under construction on two projects totaling 620,000 square feet, and controls another 1.1 million square feet not yet under development. MWR is financially positioned to aggressively pursue shopping center opportunities in a five-state area.

Prior to the formation of the joint venture, Miller Development and its predecessors had been active in Denver and Colorado retail development for 20 years, and had developed over 3.5 million square feet of properties. Weingarten Realty Investors (WRI), a New York Stock Exchange Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), owns over 287 properties in 17 states, representing 35 million square feet with a value of $2.3 billion, earning annual revenue of $314 Million.  WRI carries one of the highest credit ratings of all NYSE REITS.
