Located at the NEC of 19^th Street and Uintah Avenue in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Uintah Gardens caters to the residents of the surrounding western submarket.  This center is anchored by King Soopers and includes national and regional junior anchor tenants such as Petco, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, ARC Thrift Store, and Walgreens.   

Upon purchasing Uintah Gardens in late 2005, Weingarten Realty Investors in conjunction with Miller Weingarten Realty, LLC has planned for many exciting forthcoming improvements to the Center.  Planned improvements include upgrades to the fascia of several in-line spaces, improved monument signage, and exterior landscape enhancements.  It is anticipated that Landlord improvements will be complete in 2006. In addition, Walgreens and King Soopers have both planned for improvements to be complete in 2006.  Specifically, Walgreens plans to relocate to a new free standing building at the southwest corner of the property.  Walgreens anticipates occupying its new space by November 2006.  King Soopers is adding a fueling station at the Center and also plans for a $3 million renovation of its store.  It is anticipated that this fueling station will open in May 2006 with store improvements to follow. 

Uintah Gardens is an ideal retail location as it is one of few retail centers located within the growing western submarket and is located on a highly visible and easily accessible intersection.  Uintah Gardens provides its patrons with a pleasant neighborhood shopping experience in a distinguished retail center.
